    Description. This is a very good, near fine copy, in dust jacket, of the First Edition of Frederick Woods’ seminal Churchill bibliography. Though Ronald Cohen’s recent three-volume work far and away outdistances it, the book remains very useful and eminently collectible. Winston Churchill, in full Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill, (born Novem , Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, England—died Janu , London), British statesman, orator, and author who as prime minister (–45, –55) rallied the British people during World War II and led his country from the brink of defeat to victory.

      There are so many books still being written about the famous wartime Prime Minister that we must defer to the real experts for the definitive list.
